My research interests concern the relationships of natural capital and sustainable regional development with a special focus on the concept of ecosystem services. In 2013, I completed my master's degree in spatial management at the Poznań University of Economics and Business. In 2020, I defended my PhD dissertation developing the peri – urban ecosystem services assessment. During my doctoral studies, I worked in research and teaching teams at the Department of Human Dimensions of Global Change, Global Change Research Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences and at Technical University Dresden in the Chair of Ecosystem Services, where I was involved in research grants on ecosystem services. During my doctoral studies, I started a research project on environmental-economic accounts “Preludium” funded by the National Science Center. In 2020, I received a "Start" grant from the Foundation for Polish Science. I carried out commissioned tasks as an expert for the European Commission and ESPON (European Observation Network for Territorial Development and Cohesion). Currently, I work as an assistant professor at the Institute of Spatial Management at the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
